Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning gave a ’56-inch’ response to Pakistan for its heinous, coward attack on 40 CRPF brave men in Pulwama.
The neighbour was expecting that it will get away with the sin but the Indian Air Force (IAF) rattled the country by penetrating 80 km inside it! After the 1971 war, the strike is the first by the IAF inside Pakistan.
After the Pulwama attack on February 14 (a day which symbolises expression of love-Valentine’s Day), following revenge, there is a wave of satisfaction in India.
On the 12th day, we struck the country so hard that echoes spread across Pakistan. The IAF destroyed a terrorist camp in Balakot, a town in Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is the same province where in 2013, the provincial politics shifted towards the right-wing national conservatism when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
(PTI) led by now PM Imran Khan was able to form the minority government. Now, the province serves as the stronghold of the rightist PTI.
In the wee hours of Tuesday, 12 Mirage 2000 jets of the IAF crossed the Line of Control (Loc), performed the airstrike inside Pakistan and came back.
The entire strike last for less than two minutes. The airstrike which was in retaliation to the Pulwama attack killed around 350 militants. The jets struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed-operated militant camp which took responsibility for the Pulwama attack.
India also got the support of the international community after the “Surgical Strike 2.0”.
America has warned Pakistan to take action against terrorism mushrooming on its soil.
Pakistan must act against the terrorist organisations, warned the USA on Wednesday.
PM Narendra Modi has once again made it crystal clear that the country is in safe hands and he will not let the people down.
It is high time for Pakistan to understand the gravity of the matter and take immediate action against the terrorist organisations in the country.
If Imran Khan wants India to “give peace a chance” then he must expand his chest and act against the terrorism bourgeoning in his country.
