Q1) If I talk about your constituency, what preparations are taking place related to the Lok Sabha elections 2019?

Sunil Sahdev: We all are in the election mode. I’m interacting with people in my area on a daily basis. I’m informing them about the achievements of my government. We took out bike rally, observed Kamal Jyoti programme.

Earlier, we held Mera Parivar BJP Parivar program under which we visited each and every house of our area with the BJP flags and stickers.

And whatever work I have done in my capacity as a councillor, I informed the people about it. They endorsed that they are happy with the work done.

I am very sure that because of the good works of PM Narendra Modi this time we will cross the mark of 400 LS seats.

Sunil Sahdev: Our organisation is very strong from top to bottom. Grassroot level party workers are visiting each and every house. And they are being welcomed by everyone. We are getting a very good response.

We will perform even better than what we did in 2014 general elections. PM Narendra Modi has evolved as a world leader.

Q3) What are the problems in your constituency and what you have done to solve it?

Sunil Sahdev: The biggest problem in my constituency is because of the Central Market. The market has grown many folds and this has given rise to problems related to car parking. To solve this problem, I am going to lay the foundation stone for a stack parking for 250 cars.

Example of stack parking:

Q4) There is a parking problem in Lajpat Nagar. It is mainly because of illegal encroachments and car workshops. What steps you are taking to solve these issues?

Sunil Sahdev: From time to time I go for an anti-encroachment drive. But, within a few days, encroachers come back.

Sometimes, I think from a human point of view that why to uproot someone who is doing work here from last 10-15 years. But yes, sometimes encroachers also cross their limits because of which residents face problems. This time I have decided to take this matter more seriously. I will run a continuous one-week anti-encroachment drive in order to solve this problem once and for all.
