INTERVIEW | Monday Talk | Waqf law: Muslims in India are standing firmly with BJP and are saying ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’, says Dr Aviral Malik to Anurag Sason

Interview of Aviral Malik: Modi government has set the political temperature rising with the passing of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025. In the coming months, political activities will increase further as the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election takes place in October/November. To talk about these and many more important political issues, journalist Anurag Sason has an in-depth conversation with the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dr Aviral Malik.

Q1) Your comments on the passage of the Waqf law.

Dr Aviral Malik: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the entire BJP are working for Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. People from all religions are standing firmly with the Bharatiya Janata party. The party works on the principles of the Constitution of India.

The Muslim community is standing firmly with the BJP. They are welcoming this development and are saying ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’.

Q2) According to you, what are the three notable achievements of the BJP in the past decade?

Dr Aviral Malik: Not three, but I can list 300 achievements of the BJP. Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana, Prime Minister Awas Yojana, abrogation of Article 370, construction of the Ram Temple, etc are all achievements of the BJP. The party is concerned about the welfare of the people of the country.

Q3) Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. However, on the other hand, opposition parties have alleged that income inequality in India is rising. Then how is this Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas?

Q4) Opposition parties and critics of the BJP are saying that development is taking place, but along with it, unemployment is also rising in India. Your reaction.

Dr Aviral Malik: These are those people who have ruled India since independence till 2014. However, they have done nothing!

BJP is concerned about employment for youths. We are making efforts for Make In India, and skill development. Unemployed youths will get employment.

Q5) If BJP wins the 2025 Bihar Assembly Election, what will be its equation with Mr Nitish Kumar after that at the national coalition level?

Dr Aviral Malik: NDA will again form government in Bihar.

Q6) What will be the main points of focus for the BJP in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election?

Dr Aviral Malik: Development (Vikas) is our focus!

Q7) How do you see the Aurangzeb controversy that we recently witnessed in Maharashtra?

Dr Aviral Malik: Muslims in India are not connected with the Mughals. Aurangzeb was a cruel ruler and Muslims in India are not connected with him in any way!

I want to know how the Samajwadi Party and its leader Abu Asim Azmi feel connected with Aurangzeb.
