Interview Of Naveen Kumar: Since the Narendra Modi government came to power in India in 2014, there has been a debate over Sanatana Dharma. In 2024, this debate has reached its peak. To talk about Hinduism and other important topics, journalist Anurag Sason has an in-depth conversation with former media head and spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Delhi, Mr Naveen Kumar Jindal.

Q1) Since the Bharatiya Janata Party has come to power in India, there has been a debate over Sanatana Dharma. Why?

Naveen Kumar: When Prime Minister Narendra Modi goes to temples and offers prayers, this makes opposition parties uncomfortable that why the PM is offering prayers in Sanatana Dharma. And that’s why a debate over Sanatan Dharam has started.

Q2) Is Sanatan Dharam a religion or a way of life?

Naveen Kumar: Hinduism is a way of life. This is the only religion in the entire world that no one has been able to defeat since ages. Those people have the biggest reservation against Sanatana Dharma who have tried to break it.
