As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls 2022 is inching closer, the political temperature of Uttar Pradesh is rising. There is an element of suspense that whether or not the state election will be fought under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath?

Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Labour Minister Swami Prasad Maurya has said, the next CM of UP will be decided by the central leadership. The decision will be taken after the completion of the Assembly elections. Maurya is believed to have chief ministerial ambitions.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya had earlier said in Bareilly that the party’s national leadership will decide under whom the upcoming elections will be fought.

However, two days after Deputy CM’s comment, state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh said, the next Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll will be contested under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
