Ola has put all its energies behind moving the world towards a sustainable future. The company is coming up with electric scooters.
New factory for manufacturing electric scooters will be the world’s largest.
“Spread across 500 acres with 10 production lines and a staggering capacity to produce over 10 million scooters a year – the Ola Futurefactory will be the world’s largest two-wheeler factory,” said the company.
You can reserve an Ola scooter by paying ₹499. This means that you will be first in line to purchase it when Ola announces deliveries. You can cancel and get a refund anytime.
You do not need any documents to reserve the Ola scooter. Just sign in using your phone number, authenticated by OTP.
Price
The company has not announced the price of the scooter yet. However, it says that the price will be competitive and announced soon.
How you can charge?
The Ola scooter can be charged in two ways:
1) Home Charging, using your home-charger in any 5A socket, at your home, workplace or anywhere else.
2) Ola Electric Charging Network which is going live in over 100 cities and will eventually cover 400+ cities.
“We’re building the world’s largest, densest two-wheeler charging network,” said Ola.
Made in India
All Ola scooters are proudly made in India, for the world, at the Ola Futurefactory, located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
