The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections 2019. With this, the countdown has begun as which party will retain/return to power.
Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said, the polling will be held on April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19 for 543 Lok Sabha seats across India in which nearly 90 crore voters would be eligible to vote.
With the announcement of the dates, the poll-related activities in the parties like the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress, the Samajwadi Party, the Bahujan Samaj Party and others have gained rapid momentum.
The days to follow will see intense rallies by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi to woo the voters.
However, the voters must use their mind before pressing the button.
